Kathryn Soter, is the Executive Director of the Good Future Design Alliance.The GFDA’s mission is to advance education, advocacy and adoption of more sustainable practices in the design industry.  Her interest in the waste and health impacts from residential construction was influenced by her work in business development working for several manufacturers who supplied FF&E for the hospitality and residential markets. Prior to that, Kathryn had a 25-year career working in advertising and in publishing for the Condé Nast magazine group. 

The GFDA offers education, tools, consulting and so much more. We encourage all of you to join this movement to help design a better future – for people and the planet!

REGISTRATION REMINDER PRACTICE: Once you are registered for this event, you will receive the meeting confirmation email and a final reminder the morning of the event, unless there is a change to the event details. This will help with reducing your inbox flow with our event & reminder eblasts. We strongly recommend, you click link: Add to Calendar to also remind yourself of the event. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy: If there are registration fees, you may cancel up to 24 hours before the meeting begins and request to receive a full refund or have credit applied for a future meeting (except Meta Gala) in the same year. No shows or same-day cancellations will not receive a refund.

Prospective Members/Returning Guests Policy: 

Prospective guests will be allowed to attend their first 2 chapter meetings at no charge (this is limited to 2 people from the non-member company).

After their 3^rd chapter meeting, prospective members need to pay the current non-member rate before deciding to join.

After their third meeting, if prospective members have not joined, their name(s) will be removed from the meetings e-mail list.
