Employer Pheromones: How Remodelers are Attracting New Hires

In a historically tight labor market, it's crucial that businesses understand the right strategies to find and retain top talent. Using case studies of remodelers around the country, as well as insights from her own experience, Mosse will discuss what's working, what's not, and what we can likely expect from the labor market over the next 18 months. This talk will also include specific tactics for increasing the number of women on your team.

Erika Mosse is director of content for SGC Horizon's Pro Remodeler, a media brand serving the residential remodeling community. She has more than 20 years of experience as a speaker, journalist, and advocate for small businesses. Prior to joining SGCH in 2014, Mosse was editorial director for Hanley Wood's Pool Group, a collection of media brands serving the swimming pool construction market.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: If there are registration fees, you may cancel up to 24 hours before the meeting begins and request to receive a full refund or have credit applied for a future meeting (except Meta Gala) in the same year. No shows or same-day cancellations will not receive a refund.

Prospective Members/Returning Guests Policy: Prospective guests will be allowed to attend their first 2 chapter meetings at no charge (this is limited to 2 people from the non-member company). After their 3^rd chapter meeting, prospective members need to pay the current non-member rate before deciding to join. After their third meeting, if prospective members have not joined, their name(s) will be removed from the meetings e-mail list.
