Speaker: Jennifer Filzen of Rock Star Marketing

Jen began social media marketing after the release of her first album, Sirena, back in 2007. Being a small-town singer/songwriter from Monterey, she knew she had to put all she had into marketing her album to get her music heard. Because of her extraordinary ability as an online marketer, her songs eventually topped the international charts, and she became a GRAMMY-qualified artist.

Since then, Jen has worked diligently as a copywriter, content writer, author, and social media marketer to grow her business into a full-service digital marketing agency. Rock Star Marketing specializes in telling clients' stories via Search Engine Optimized content on their websites, social media marketing, customized blogs, video marketing, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Her agency actively partners with multiple companies in the service industries, including construction, auto repair, dental, and healthcare. She is the host of a TV show called "Ask The Doc," and she is the author of The Give To Get Principle, What Dancing Taught Me About Running A Successful Business, and How To Make Your Dance Business Profitable. When she's not marketing for her clients, she and her husband dance West Coast Swing across the country.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: If there are registration fees, you may cancel up to 24 hours before the meeting begins and request to receive a full refund or have credit applied for a future meeting (except Meta Gala) in the same year. No shows or same-day cancellations will not receive a refund.

Prospective Members/Returning Guests Policy: Prospective guests will be allowed to attend their first 2 chapter meetings at no charge (this is limited to 2 people from the non-member company). After their 3^rd chapter meeting, prospective members need to pay the current non-member rate before deciding to join. After their third meeting, if prospective members have not joined, their name(s) will be removed from the meetings e-mail list.
